JX401 is a p38 MAP Kinase Inhibitor VI. It is a peptide inhibitor of the p38 MAP kinase, which belongs to the protein kinase family. JX401 blocks the activity of this enzyme, which is involved in inflammation and apoptosis. This product is used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and ligand-receptor binding. JX401 has been shown to inhibit ion channels that are activated by p38 MAP kinase and has been purified to >99% purity.
