Diethyl ketomalonate has been shown to inhibit the activity of a wide range of enzymes, including aminopeptidases, carboxypeptidases, dipeptidases, endopeptidases, esterases, glycosidases, lipase, metalloprotease, peptidase A1, peptidase A2, peptidase M1 and urease.
