Applications 1,9-Dihydro-9-[[2-hydroxy-1-[[(4-methoxyphenyl)diphenylmethoxy]methyl]ethoxy]methyl]-2-[[(4-methoxyphenyl)diphenylmethyl]amino]-6H-purin-6-one is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Ganciclovir Triphosphate Triethylamine Salt (G235030), which is an inhibitor of hepatitis B virus DNA polymerase and has shown potent antiviral activity against herpes viruses and hepadnaviruses.
