Applications 2-(2-Methoxyphenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-4,5-dihydrooxazole is an intermediate in the synthesis of Candesartan-d4, the labeled analogue of Candesartan (C175575), an angiotensin II type-1 receptor antagonist. Used in treatment of congestive heart failure. Antihypertensive.
