Applications Sorbic Chloride is a chloride analog of Sorbic Acid (S676890). Sorbic Acid is a naturally occurring organic compound first isolated from unripe berries. Sorbic acid has been used as a food preservative and as an inhibitor of Clostridium Botulinum bacteria in meat products in order to reduce the amount of nitrites which produce carcinogenic nitroamines.
Not a dangerous good if item is equal to or less than 1g/ml and there is less than 100g/ml in the package
