Lisinopril is a drug product that is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and other conditions. It belongs to the class of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and has been shown to inhibit the activity of angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) in the body, which leads to increased levels of bradykinin, an important peptide in inflammation.
