CAS:
Methyl 5-chloro-6-fluoronicotinate is an alkyl ester of a fatty acid. It is known to be a hypolipidemic agent. Methyl 5-chloro-6-fluoronicotinate, or nicotinic acid, is a pyridine ring with a methyl group and chlorine, which are bound to the ring at the 2 and 5 positions respectively. The compound can be hydrolyzed by water to form methyl 5-chloro-6-fluoroacetic acid (MCFA) and hydrogen chloride gas. The MCFA can also be metabolized through oxidation by cytochrome P450 enzymes in the liver.
Fórmula:C7H5ClFNO2Pureza:Min. 95%Peso molecular:189.57 g/mol
