CAS:Produto Controlado4-Methoxy-13C,d3-estrone is a synthetic compound that is used as an endocrine disruptor. It has been shown to have estrogenic and antiandrogenic properties in vitro. The growth of cancer cells, such as breast and prostate cancer, can be inhibited by 4-methoxy-13C,d3-estrone. This molecule also inhibits the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and n-3 fatty acids from activated macrophages. 4-Methoxy-13C,d3-estrone has been shown to be effective in the prevention of tumorigenesis in mice with colon carcinogenesis.
