Flucloxacillin penilloic acid

Flucloxacillin penilloic acid is an analog of the antibiotic flucloxacillin that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It induces apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibits tumor growth in Chinese hamsters. Flucloxacillin penilloic acid acts as a protein kinase inhibitor, blocking the activity of kinases involved in cell division and proliferation. This compound also inhibits the activity of oseltamivir, an antiviral drug used to treat influenza. Flucloxacillin penilloic acid is excreted primarily in urine and has been found to be effective against a wide range of bacterial infections.
