CAS:Rapastinel is a peptide drug for the treatment of major depressive disorder. Rapastinel binds to the NMDA receptor and blocks the binding of glutamate to this receptor, thereby inhibiting its activity. Rapastinel has been shown to be an antagonist at the NMDA receptor and an agonist at the glycine site on the NR1 subunit of this receptor. It also inhibits neurotransmitter release by blocking presynaptic voltage-gated calcium channels and increasing inhibitory GABAergic transmission in the brain. Rapastinel is soluble in water and has a purity of >99% as determined by HPLC analysis.Fórmula:C20H32F3N5O8Pureza:Min. 95%Peso molecular:527.5 g/mol
