CAS:DL-Kynurenine, free base is an amino acid that is a product of the normal catabolic pathway for tryptophan. It is also present in some foods and may be produced endogenously from tryptophan or kynurenine. DL-Kynurenine is used as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) substrate to detect enterovirus RNA and has been shown to be effective against bowel disease in vitro. DL-Kynurenine has been studied as a potential pharmacological agent for the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and psoriasis. DL-Kynurenine binds to toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and inhibits picolinic acid production by macrophages. This leads to decreased matrix metalloproteinase activity and energy metabolism, which may have a protective effect on neuronal death by reducing oxidative stress.Fórmula:C10H12N2O3Pureza:Min. 95%Peso molecular:208.20 g/molDL-Kynurenine, free base
CAS:DL-Kynurenine is a versatile building block, useful in the synthesis of complex compounds. The compound has been used as a reagent, and as a speciality chemical with high quality. DL-Kynurenine can be used as a starting material for the synthesis of other chemicals, such as pharmaceuticals or pesticides. It can also be used as an intermediate to produce drugs that are useful for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. DL-Kynurenine is also an effective scaffold for drug design.Fórmula:C10H12N2O3Pureza:Min. 95 Area-%Peso molecular:208.22 g/molRef: 3D-K-9000
