The biological function of 3-fluoro-4-methoxybenzaldehyde is not yet known. Hydrochloric acid may be used to react with 3-fluoro-4-methoxybenzaldehyde to form a salt. This chemical also has anti-tumor effects and can be synthesized using cryogenic techniques.
