Neomenthoglycol
CAS:Neomenthoglycol is a potent anticancer agent that has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. It is an analog of ghrelin, a hormone that regulates appetite and energy balance. Neomenthoglycol inhibits the activity of kinases, which are enzymes that play a key role in cell signaling pathways. This inhibition leads to the suppression of tumor growth and proliferation. Additionally, neomenthoglycol has been found to be effective against various types of cancer, including breast, colon, and lung cancers. Studies have also shown that neomenthoglycol can inhibit the growth of cancer cells by blocking the action of cellulose synthase inhibitors. Furthermore, neomenthoglycol has demonstrated significant activity against human bladder cancer cells in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. Its protein kinase inhibitor properties make it a promising candidate for future development as an anticancer therapy.
