Ethyl 4,4,4-Trifluoroacetoacetate is a compound that is used to synthesize enantiopure compounds. It is prepared by the reaction of p-nitrophenyl phosphate with trifluoroacetic acid in the presence of ethylene diamine and sodium carbonate.
