Nonafluoro butanesulfonyl fluoride has also been shown to inhibit the growth of methyl ketones, hydroxyl group, and hydrogen bond in a reaction solution. The chemical stability of nonafluoro butanesulfonyl fluoride is relatively high and it is resistant to hydrolysis by common reagents. This compound is not mutagenic or carcinogenic in animal studies.
