Phosphohydroxypyruvic acid is a drug that has been shown to inhibit serine hydrolase and methyl transferase, which are enzymes involved in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine. Phosphohydroxypyruvic acid has been shown to have anticancer properties against MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and wild-type strain cells. The drug blocks transcriptional regulation by binding to the receptor site on DNA and prevents transcription.
