Nabumetona é um anti-inflamatório não esteroidal (AINE) usado principalmente para o tratamento da osteoartrite e da artrite reumatoide. É caracterizado por suas propriedades analgésicas e anti-inflamatórias, que são atribuídas à sua capacidade de inibir as enzimas ciclooxigenases (COX), reduzindo assim a síntese de prostaglandinas envolvidas na inflamação e na dor.
