(-)-Epinefrina, também conhecido como adrenalina, é uma catecolamina e um hormônio e neurotransmissor chave no corpo. É caracterizado pelo seu papel na resposta de "luta ou fuga", onde prepara o corpo para uma ação rápida em situações estressantes. Quimicamente, é uma amina com uma estrutura que inclui um grupo catecol (um anel de benzeno com dois grupos hidroxila) e uma cadeia lateral de etilamina.
