CAS:Salinomycin sodium is a model system for the study of the toxicity of drugs and chemicals. Salinomycin sodium can be used to study the effects of sublethal doses of salinomycin on metabolic enzymes in vitro. Salinomycin sodium has been shown to inhibit complex enzymes by intramolecular hydrogen bonding. This inhibition may lead to cell death or cytotoxicity. Salinomycin is a compound that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, which may be due to its interference with ribosome function or the binding of tRNA molecules to the ribosome. It also inhibits DNA replication, leading to cell death by inhibiting RNA synthesis or preventing DNA from being replicated. Salinomycin can also disrupt membrane permeability and induce lipid peroxidation in cells, leading to cell death.Fórmula:C42H69NaO11Pureza:Min. 95%Cor e Forma:White PowderPeso molecular:772.98 g/mol
