CAS:Folic acid is a water-soluble vitamin that is required for the synthesis of DNA and RNA. It is also important in the synthesis of amino acids, proteins, and lipids. It has been shown to have a protective effect against certain cancers, such as squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Folic acid may be used as a supplement for women with low levels of folic acid in their diet to decrease the risk of neural tube defects in their children. Folic Acid has been shown to bind to folate receptors on cells and inhibit extracellular adenosine production. This inhibition causes an increase in intracellular adenosine concentrations, which leads to activation of nuclear DNA polymerases.Fórmula:C19H19N7O6Pureza:Min. 96 Area-%Cor e Forma:Yellow PowderPeso molecular:441.4 g/molFolic Acid ExiPlus, Multi-Compendial, 98%
