Descrição:
Níquel é um metal de transição com o símbolo químico Ni e o número CAS 7440-02-0. É caracterizado por sua aparência prateada e é conhecido por sua alta ductilidade e maleabilidade. It is found in many minerals, such as, nickel sulfide, nickel oxide, niccolite, nickeline and pentlandite, among others; it is used in coins and as a component of stainless steel in metallurgy. Nickel is an important reagent in organic chemistry, being used as catalyst for hydrogenation reactions, also in the form of Ni nanoparticles.
