Descrição:
Ródio é um metal de transição raro, de cor branco prateado, pertencente ao grupo dos metais do platino, conhecido por sua alta refletividade e resistência à corrosão e oxidação. Tem o número atômico 45 e é denotado pelo símbolo Rh. Ródio é utilizado principalmente em conversores catalíticos para automóveis, onde ajuda a converter gases nocivos em emissões menos tóxicas. Suas excelentes propriedades catalíticas também o tornam valioso em várias reações químicas, incluindo processos de hidrogenação e oxidação.
