:Altanserina

CAS:Altanserin is a drug that binds to the 5-HT2 receptor and blocks its interactions with other molecules. Altanserin has been shown to have a synergic effect with antidepressants such as desipramine and fluoxetine, which are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It has also been shown to inhibit the uptake of 5-HT in the brain, which may be related to its effect on locomotor activity. The use of altanserin for HIV infection is still being studied. One study found that altanserin reduced viral load and increased CD4+ T cell counts in HIV patients who were not taking any other anti-HIV drugs. A recent study found that altanserin at dosages up to 4mg/kg/day did not cause any toxic effects in rats.Fórmula:C22H22FN3O2S•HCl•(H2O)xPureza:Min. 95%Altanserin
