CAS:Luseogliflozin is a drug that belongs to the class of sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It blocks the reabsorption of glucose in the kidney, thereby lowering blood glucose levels and improving glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Luseogliflozin is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are already treated with insulin or oral antidiabetic drugs. Luseogliflozin has been shown to have no effect on hepatic steatosis, but it does reduce blood pressure when administered with other antihypertensive agents. The long-term efficacy and safety of luseogliflozin has not yet been established. Luseogliflozin should be used with caution in patients who are also taking drugs that can inhibit or induce cytochrome P450 enzymes, such as ketoconazole, cimetidine, eryth
