Histone acetyltransferase inhibitor II is a histone acetyltransferase (HAT) inhibitor that is used in the treatment of cancer. It inhibits cellular transformation and tumor growth by binding to the polymerase chain, which prevents DNA synthesis and transcription. Histone Acetyltransferase Inhibitor II has been shown to have anti-cancer activity in a number of animal models of cancer, including gliomas and breast cancers.
