Fluvastatina sódica é um agente sintético redutor de lipídios que pertence à classe das estatinas, utilizado principalmente para gerenciar a hiperlipidemia e reduzir o risco de doenças cardiovasculares. Funciona como um inibidor da HMG-CoA redutase, que desempenha um papel crucial na biossíntese do colesterol.
