The drug has been shown to be effective in improving testosterone levels in men with low testosterone levels. 17β-hydroxy-17-(methyl-D3) androsten 3 one has a bioavailability of about 50% and a half life of about 4 hours. It also shows specificity for biological fluids, as it does not bind to other tissues or organs such as the liver, muscle, or skin. This drug has been shown to have a pharmacokinetic profile that is characterized by rapid absorption and distribution into tissues and rapid elimination from the body with little accumulation. The drug can be detected using mass spectrometry with molecular ions of m/z 289, 291, 293, 295, 297, 299, 301 and 303.
