Metacrilato de butila (BMA) é um composto orgânico classificado como um éster, especificamente o éster butílico do ácido metacrílico. É um líquido incolor a amarelo pálido com um odor frutado característico. O BMA é conhecido por suas excelentes propriedades de adesão, flexibilidade e resistência à luz UV, tornando-o um componente valioso em várias aplicações, incluindo revestimentos, adesivos e selantes.
