3,3-Dimethylbutane-1,2,4-triol

It is also a plasticizer and an intermediate for the production of neopentyl glycol. 3,3-Dimethylbutane-1,2,4-triol can be hydrogenated to form 1,2-dimethoxyethane at temperatures ranging from 40° C to 100° C and pressures ranging from atmospheric pressure to 100 psi.
