Methyl 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl carbonate
CAS:Methyl 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl carbonate is a chemical substance that has a constant boiling point. It has the ability to stabilize organic substances by forming coordination complexes with them. Methyl 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl carbonate also has an optical rotation of +10° to +20° and can be used as a supplement in ethylene glycol. This chemical compound can be synthesized by using the following steps: (1) adding 1,1-difluoroethane and methyl bromide to form methyl trifluoromethyl carbonate; (2) adding methanol and sodium methoxide to form methyl 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl carbonate; and (3) reacting methyl 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl carbonate with water to form methyl 2,2-difluoroethyl carbonate.

CAS:(2E)-3-(6-Nitro-1,3-dioxaindan-5-yl)prop-2-enoic acid is a high yield modification of the natural product taxol. It has been shown to enhance the anticancer activity of taxol in vitro and in vivo with modifications to the drug structure. This compound inhibits proliferation by binding to cell cycle regulators, such as cyclin D1 and CDK4, which are required for cell growth. (2E)-3-(6-Nitro-1,3-dioxaindan-5-yl)prop-2-enoic acid also inhibits the production of phenylpropanoid compounds and enhances the production of taxanes, two classes of plant cell growth regulators that have been shown to induce plant cell growth.

CAS:Ethyl 3-sulfanylbutanoate is a sulfide-containing compound that is used in the manufacture of detergents, deodorants, and perfumes. It is also used in the manufacture of sodium hydrogen sulfate, which is used as a softener and a flavoring agent in baking powder. The main use of this chemical is as a precursor to sodium bicarbonate, which can be made by reacting it with an acid to form carbon dioxide. Ethyl 3-sulfanylbutanoate has two reactive groups: one sulfur atom and one carbanion. These react with other molecules to form sulfides and disulfides respectively.

CAS:5-[(2,2,2-Trifluoroethyl)amino]-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thiol is a ligand that is used as a research tool for the study of protein interactions. It binds to an allosteric site on the receptor and activates it by increasing the affinity of the ion channel. 5-[(2,2,2-Trifluoroethyl)amino]-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thiol has been shown to inhibit protein interactions with glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) and α-synuclein. This ligand also inhibits the activity of potassium channels and calcium channels.
