CAS:Flunarizine is a drug that blocks voltage-gated calcium channels. It is used as an anticonvulsant, antiemetic, and to treat migraine headaches. Flunarizine is often called the prototypical l-type calcium channel blocker. Flunarizine binds to voltage-gated calcium channels in nerve cells and prevents the entry of calcium ions into these cells.
