Reagecon’s Carbon Dioxide Standard (CO₂) 1 g/l is one of a series of standards used to calibrate and control the Corning 965D Carbon Dioxide Analyser. Use of this instrument is one of a number of approved techniques available for the determination of CO₂ in beer and other carbonated beverages. This Reagecon Density Standard Quality Range 0.8292 g/mL at 60°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D4052 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by vibrational densitometer and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by vibrational or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. - The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using vibrational densitometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights. Reagecon's Brix Standard (Stabilised) 7% at 20°C is a high quality product; with an extended shelf life to be used either as a calibrant or analytical control material for use in Refractive Index based methods for Brix determination.
