<p>Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is a protein hormone that plays a crucial role in the reproductive cycle. It stimulates the growth and development of follicles in the ovaries, which produce estrogen and progesterone. FSH also regulates spermatogenesis in men. Studies have shown that FSH has inhibitory activity on cyclin-dependent kinases, which are enzymes that regulate the cell cycle.
