
Sulfonatos e Sulfatos Orgânicos
Os sulfonatos são compostos que contêm um grupo funcional -SO₃, onde um átomo de enxofre está ligado a três átomos de oxigénio, com um deles conectado a um grupo alquila ou arila. Estes compostos são utilizados na formulação de APIs devido à sua capacidade de melhorar a solubilidade e a estabilidade dos princípios ativos. A sua estrutura também pode conferir propriedades antimicrobianas ou anti-inflamatórias.
