Descrição:The 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside is an antituberculosis drug that falls under the class of rifamycins. It is highly effective in treating tuberculosis infections as it exhibits bactericidal activity. This compound inhibits bacterial growth by binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, thereby preventing transcription and replication.
