Aniline hydrobromide is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H5NH2Br. It is a colorless liquid that is soluble in water and ethanol. It has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic properties. Aniline hydrobromide has been shown to be effective for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, although it does not show any effect on other types of autoimmune diseases. This drug also shows some activity against cardiac hypertrophy in animal models. As with many diazonium salts, this drug can cause acute toxicities when ingested or inhaled in large amounts.
