This leads to lower levels of cholesterol in the blood, which can be beneficial in treating high cholesterol levels. N-Ethylglycine hydrochloride has been shown to have antiviral effects against influenza virus, with an IC50 of 0.5 μM, as well as anti-inflammatory properties.
