Informação sobre produto
1,1-Diacetylcyclopropane is a synthetic heterocyclic compound that has been shown to inhibit tumor cells and myeloid leukemia cells in vitro. 1,1-Diacetylcyclopropane is an analog of the natural product 1,1-diacetylcyclobutane, which has been shown to have antiproliferative activity. The mechanism of action of 1,1-diacetylcyclopropane involves the formation of an enolate anion with nucleophilic character and a significant cytotoxic activity against tumor cells. This chemical can be prepared by cross-coupling reactions between two different Grignards followed by hydrolysis. In addition to these mechanisms, it should be noted that 1,1-diacetylcyclopropane reacts with halides such as chlorine or bromine to form reactive intermediates.
