Descrição:(E)-Methyl 3-(4-Fluorophenyl)Acrylate is an active natural product that inhibits serotonin reuptake by binding to the serotonin transporter. It has been shown to be a stereoselective, halide-sensitive, and immobilized method for the synthesis of (E)-methyl 3-(4-fluorophenyl)acrylate. The (E)-methyl 3-(4-fluorophenyl)acrylate was synthesized using a cross-coupling reaction between methyl acrylate and 4-fluoroaniline. This compound showed inhibition of serotonin reuptake in humans with an IC50 of 0.14 μM.
