2,6-Bis((4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)oxy)benzoic acid is a herbicide that inhibits the activity of the enzyme p450. 2,6-Bis((4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)oxy)benzoic acid is stable in an alkaline environment and has synergistic effects when combined with an organic solvent such as ethylene diamine. This compound also has a high resistance to degradation by cationic surfactants and is not affected by fatty acids. The analytical method for this compound has been developed using surface methodology.
