Descrição:3,4-Dihydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)(2-fluorophenyl)methanone (NSC 663128) is a potent and selective growth factor that binds to the dopamine receptor. It has been shown to inhibit protein tyrosine phosphorylation and cell proliferation in vitro. This compound has also been shown to protect against neurotoxicity induced by methamphetamine in rats. NSC 663128 has also demonstrated an anti-cancer effect on human cancer cells, including leukemia cells and breast cancer cells. The mechanism of this effect may be due to inhibition of catechol-o-methyltransferase, epidermal growth factor receptor, or other cellular targets.
