Triethylvinylsilane is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of organosilicon compounds. It is used as an additive in organic synthesis and as a catalyst for metathesis reactions. Triethylvinylsilane has been shown to be a solid catalyst for the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives, which are hydroxyl-functionalized heterocycles.

In addition to its use in organic synthesis, triethylvinylsilane has been shown to be an effective immobilized catalyst for sulfamic acid and salicylhydroxamic acid hydrolysis, which are important industrial processes. The triethylvinylsilane-based catalysts are stable under acidic conditions and can be regenerated using ammonium persulfate. In this application, the ethyl groups on the silane molecule act as oxygen donors, while the silicon atom acts as an oxygen acceptor.
