Descrição:Cyclohexyl Butyrate is a fatty acid that is a phosphotungstic acid and cavity inhibitor. It inhibits the activity of β-amino acid enzymes such as cyclohexylalanine synthase and cyclohexylalanine aminotransferase, which are involved in the synthesis of amino acids. Cyclohexyl Butyrate also inhibits the production of fatty acids by binding to their enzyme promoters and interfering with the availability of metal ions needed for their synthesis. This compound has been shown to have pesticidal activity against many pests including aphids, mole crickets, and thrips. Cyclohexyl Butyrate is an acidic compound that reacts with metal ions to form metal chelates. These chelates react with the surface of plants, forming a water-repellent coating that can protect them from fungal diseases.
