1,3-Dioxolane, 4-methyl-2-pentyl (MIX) is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of amines. It has been shown to be an antioxidant and may have potential applications in deodorizing and antifungal agents. MIX is used as a molecule in the preparation of anti-inflammatory drugs and can act as an inhibitor of lung fibroblast proliferation. MIX also has the ability to inhibit fatty acid esterase and organic acid synthase, thus reducing the production of fatty acids such as oleic acid.
