Informação sobre produto
Ethyl 2,6-dihydroxypyrimidine-4-carboxylate is an amide that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in mice. It inhibits the production of adenosine by binding to the adenosine receptors and blocks the activity of these receptors. Ethyl 2,6-dihydroxypyrimidine-4-carboxylate also binds to phenyl groups and hydroxyl groups, which may explain its ability to inhibit influenza virus. The maximal response of this drug is reached at a concentration of 0.1 µM, which is 10 times lower than for other drugs such as dexamethasone or prednisolone. This drug also has been shown to inhibit lung fibroblasts and acid formation in cells.END>
