2-Bromo-4,6-dinitroaniline is a chemical compound that is used for the production of dyes and pesticides. It is also an intermediate in the Friedel-Crafts reaction, which converts benzene to nitrobenzene. 2-Bromo-4,6-dinitroaniline reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce bromobenzene, water, and nitrous gas.
