Informação sobre produto
- 1-Benzyl-4-Nitrobenzene
4-Nitrodiphenylmethane is a product of the oxidation of diphenylmethane. It has been shown to be an intermediate in the synthesis of 4-nitrobenzophenone and 4-nitrophenol. The compound can also be used as a precursor for other compounds that contain conjugated double bonds, such as dinitrofluorobenzene. Nitration of 4-nitrodiphenylamine with an acid chloride yields nitrodiphenylamine chloride, which is a useful synthetic intermediate for many organic syntheses. Hypersensitivity reactions have been observed in humans after exposure to this compound, which may be due to its functional groups or halide substituents.
