Informação sobre produto
2,6-Dihydroxyanthracene is a hydrocarbon that has been shown to undergo photochemical reactions. These reactions are initiated by the absorption of light and produce hydrogen radicals. 2,6-Dihydroxyanthracene also undergoes aromatization with the help of hydrogen atoms or hydroxyl groups to form dihydroxy anthracene. The solubility parameters for 2,6-dihydroxyanthracene are similar to that of anthracene and diacetate, which indicates that it is hydrophobic in nature. 2,6-Dihydroxyanthracene has been shown to interact with chloride ions and aluminium surfaces, which may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonding interactions.
