(S)-(4-Chlorophenyl)(pyridin-2-yl)methanol is a chiral molecule. It is used as an anti-allergic drug, which inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells and basophils. The stereoselectivity of this compound can be optimized by manipulating the substrate concentration and microbial strain.
