Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used in the treatment of arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, dysmenorrhea and pain. This drug is also a cyclooxygenase inhibitor and this results in decreased levels of prostaglandins that mediate pain, fever and inflammation.
